Turbine-type energy recovery energy-saving technology recovers the residual pressure energy in the discharged concentrated seawater through turbine impellers and converts it into pressure energy to boost the incoming seawater, realizing the recycling of residual pressure energy. The technical products comply with the national energy-saving and green industrial development plan and are suitable for seawater desalination, brackish water desalination, wastewater resource treatment, reclaimed water reuse, zero discharge, and petrochemical fields.
The research team has completed the development of 200~2000 tons/day turbine-type energy recovery devices and successfully applied them in island seawater desalination devices, achieving complete domestic substitution. On this basis, medium and low-pressure energy recovery technology for the entire industrial water treatment field has been developed, and it has been applied for the first time in the printing and dyeing wastewater treatment process. The independent turbine-type energy recovery technology has passed the achievement appraisal of the China Ocean Engineering and China Chemical Industry Associations. The technical achievements fill the domestic gap, and the overall technology is at the international advanced level. The innovative achievements have won the "Special Prize" and "Second Prize" of the Marine Engineering Science and Technology Award, and have been successfully included in the Tianjin Green Technology Promotion Catalog.
