Seawater and Brackish Water Utilization Product Quality Inspection and Testing Service

The "National Center for Quality Inspection and Testing of Seawater and Brackish Water Utilization Products" was established relying on the "The Institute of Seawater Desalination and Multipurpose Utilization, Ministry of Natural Resources (Tianjin)". It is a third-party impartial national-level quality inspection institution with national-level qualification accreditation for metrology certification (CMA) and laboratory accreditation (CNAS). It is also the only liquid separation membrane product inspection and testing center of the China Membrane Industry Association. Currently, it has the capability to provide testing services for 11 major categories, 51 products, and a total of 771 parameters. The center provides inspection and testing services for seawater desalination equipment and components, water treatment equipment, water treatment agents and chemicals, cooling towers, etc. in the fields of equipment and chemicals; provides inspection and testing services for reverse osmosis membranes, ultra/microfiltration membranes, nanofiltration membranes, electrodialysis membranes, etc. in the field of separation membrane products; provides testing and monitoring services for seawater, brackish water, drinking water, rivers, lakes, and other surface waters in the field of water environment; undertakes testing and monitoring services for marine sediments and soil sediments in the field of sediments; provides testing and monitoring services for plankton and large benthic organisms in the field of marine ecology; provides testing and monitoring services for water depth, flow velocity and direction, and wind speed and direction in the field of marine hydrology and meteorology; and undertakes water batch and water efficiency testing services for water purifiers and other water-related products.
