JT/T 280-2004 and JT/T 280-2022 are both Chinese standards for road marking paint, but they are not the same.
JT/T 280-2022 replaced JT/T 280-2004 and introduced stricter requirements for thermoplastic road marking paint, including ≥30% premixed glass beads for reflective and profiled types, higher softening point range, thermal deformation resistance, total organic content, and additional raw material and packaging requirements.
