The chain tension automatic control system consists of a mining explosion-proof and intrinsically safe controller, hydraulic control valve group, and other accessories. Aiming at the demand for dynamic adjustment of chain pre-tension during the operation of variable frequency drive scraper conveyors, a chain tension system based on load following control has been designed and developed. It effectively solves the power balance between the head and tail and the influence of load on chain tension during variable frequency drive operation, reduces the probability of chain breakage accidents, and increases the service life of main components such as chains and shaft groups.
