Microwave Radiometer (SMR-100)

The SMR-100 ground-based microwave radiometer is a ground-based microwave remote sensing device that passively receives microwave signals of atmospheric radiation from various altitudes to determine atmospheric temperature and humidity variations from the ground up to an altitude of 10 km. It plays a significant role in detecting mesoscale and small-scale weather phenomena, such as storms, lightning, heavy rainfall, fog, icing, as well as boundary layer jets and turbulence.
