Product Introduction

Summary

Terminal sensing devices are the data source of the entire smart water system. Supported by emerging technologies such as cloud computing, big data, IoT, mobile internet, and artificial intelligence, Inspur integrates and develops products including ultrasonic smart water meters, flow and pressure monitoring, water quality monitoring, liquid level monitoring, and integrated terminal cabinets, building an efficient intelligent sensing service system.

Background

The value of a smart water platform depends on its ability to perceive the physical world in real time. Traditional terminals have single functions, rely on manual reading, and cannot connect to the network. Flow, pressure, water quality, and liquid level data are incomplete, untimely, and inconsistent, leaving the platform without a reliable data foundation. Therefore, a complete terminal sensing layer is a prerequisite for monitoring, leak control, billing, and AI applications.

Solution Description

1. Ultrasonic Smart Water Meters

Ultrasonic smart water meters adopt a metering method with no mechanical moving parts, offering high accuracy and a wide turndown ratio. They support bidirectional metering and remote data transmission, providing the water usage data foundation for remote meter reading and revenue management.

2. Flow and Pressure Monitoring

Flow meters, master meters, and pressure transmitters are deployed at water plant outlets, pump stations, and district metering points, providing flow and pressure data for water balance analysis, district metering, and pressure scheduling.

3. Water Quality Monitoring

Online water quality terminals continuously monitor indicators such as turbidity, residual chlorine, and pH in water sources, water plant outlets, and pipe networks, enabling full-process water quality supervision from source to tap.

4. Liquid Level Monitoring

Liquid level instruments monitor water levels in clear water tanks, reservoirs, and pump stations, supporting pump control, water storage scheduling, and flood control scheduling.

5. Integrated Terminal Cabinets

Integrated terminal cabinets integrate gateway, power supply, communication, and protection modules, providing standardized, out-of-the-box sites for on-site data collection and transmission, shortening installation and commissioning time.

Customer Value

Data collection is automated and networked, greatly reducing manual meter reading and on-site inspections, and lowering labor costs. Improved metering accuracy and data completeness provide a reliable data foundation for leak control, water balance analysis, and billing, directly improving water fee recovery. On-site equipment is standardized and manageable, shortening installation and commissioning cycles, and enabling rapid addition of new monitoring points as the pipe network expands. In typical projects, the terminal sensing layer has covered approximately 500,000 smart water meters, 550 flow meters, 400 pressure gauges, and 50 water quality terminals, demonstrating the solution's scalability from a single site to an entire city.
