Feed speeds vary from 20 to 40 m/mn depending on the machine model and size.The moving column is put into motion thanks to racks and preloaded pinion and brushless motor-reducer without any backlash.The Y and Z axis drive consists of ball screws and CNC motors. Accurate guiding is ensured by preloaded rollers. All moving parts are protected against dust and are lubricated automatically. Hydraulic balancing is fitted on the vertical axe.A large range of high speed spindles are available regarding different applications. Spindle power 15 27- 42 KW - Maximal speed from 10.000 rpm up to 40.000 rpm dependant on application.A static frequency inverter enables an infinitely speed variation.The tool magazine is of easy access and accommodates 16 tools (or more as an option).These CRENO centres are particularly well suited for the high speed machining of composite materials, aluminium, paterns, etc. The numerical control, which is located in a closed and air-conditioned booth, is a NUM AXIUM POWER or a SIEMENS 840D which includes many options for easier high speed machining. Other CNC controls can be fitted. The 5 Axis CAD-CAM CRENO post-processor allows easy programming without any risks for 5 axis machining (moulding or contouring) with graphic display.
