This design allows long and accurate Z travel (over 2 200 mm). - Standard travels X : 4 000 up to 16 000 (or more) - Standard travels Y : 2 000 up to 5 800 (or more) - Maximal feed rate : 20 60 m/mn (brushless or linear motors) - Spindle power : 15 27 - 42 KW 24 000 rpm The two movements of the five axes head are driven by brushless motors with heavy duty epicycloidal reducers without any backlash to obtain a very good finishing surface thanks to high torque available in full 5 axis movements and not only on indexed angles. Different tables are proposed : P T slot tables P Locating directly integrated in the floor P Flat steel tables with tapped holes, locatings and vacuum system as an option These CRENO centres are particularly well suited for the high speed machining of composite materials, aluminium, sandwich panels, plastic materials, electrical insulating materials, etc. The numerical control, which is located in a closed and air-conditioned booth, is a NUM AXIUM POWER or a SIEMENS 840D which includes many options for easier machining in 5 axes (unisurf, inclined plane, RTCP, ...). Other CNC controls can be fitted. The 5 Axis CAD-CAM CRENO post-processor allows easy programming without any risks for 5 axis machining (moulding or contouring) with graphic display.
