Both tunnels, whether right or left, can also be retrofitted to the standard machine (without tunnel) simply by changing them over with the black side guards. The sole exception is PHANTOMATIC T3 Star, which can only be provided with the right tunnel. The tool magazine with head rotating device, fitted on a support arm positioned on one side of the machine, allows loading an angle machining head on the electrospindle and rotating it automatically by 90, 180 and 270 with respect to the standard orientation. Thanks to the software controlling the angle machining head rotation, the electrospindle deposits the angle machining head on a rotating device which, in just a few seconds and via a pneumatically operated drive, rotates the head by the required angle, in steps of 90. Correct positioning is ensured by special sensors monitoring the orientation. Depending on the model, the tool magazine with head rotating device can be installed: on right or left side, as preferred, on PHANTOMATIC T3 just on the right, on PHANTOMATIC T3 A just on the left, as an alternative to the tool magazine, on PHANTOMATIC T3 S. However it is not available for PHANTOMATIC T3 Star. More information...
