It forms part of FP ASSEMBLY, the FP SUITE software which is pre-installed on the DL KIT (the industrial shop floor computer equipped with touch screen monitor). It serves the production departments directly by supplying information during the cutting, assembly, packing and shipping phases. DL QUALITY consists of two software packages: one for the office and one for the workshop. In the office, it helps to define the production control plan by providing the list of quality controls to be carried out (characteristics and frequencies), that can be customized according to the types and subdivided by machining phases, while it also performs functions allowing quick search and retrieval of the archived control plans. Moreover, it manages the serial numbers of the finished products and automatically generates the EC declaration of conformity to be issued to the customer. In the workshop, besides allowing identification of the operator via iButton or password, DL QUALITY also enables selecting the door or window thanks to reading of the barcode of any of its parts as well as identification of the checks to be made and recording of those already performed, with notification of any non conformities recorded and corrective solutions adopted.
