Product Introduction

- Product Introduction

PTFE-lined pipe is a steel-PTFE composite pipe that can withstand strong acids and alkalis. PTFE-lined pipes and accessories have qualified temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, and are ideal for conveying highly corrosive media such as nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosgene, chlorine, aqua regia, mixed acid, bromide and other organic solvents. Steel-lined PTFE pipes and accessories that can operate stably under high temperature (within 150°C) extreme negative pressure conditions for a long time solve the shortcomings of steel-lined PTFE pipes and accessories that cannot withstand negative pressure in the past, and have been used in many high-temperature and high-negative pressure systems such as distillation.

- Pipeline Introduction

After years of actual use, the factors that directly affect the service life and performance stability of polytetrafluoroethylene lined anti-corrosion pipelines are temperature, pressure, medium, etc. Materials and advanced manufacturing process methods are the quality guarantee of polytetrafluoroethylene lined products. Steel lined polytetrafluoroethylene straight pipes are commonly known as loose lining pipes.

- Features

1: High operating temperature Under strong corrosive media conditions, the operating temperature range can be -60 degrees to 200 degrees, and all chemical media can be met in this temperature range

2: Vacuum resistance It can be used under vacuum conditions. In chemical production, local vacuum conditions are often caused by cooling, longitudinal discharge, and asynchronous operation of pumps and valves

3: High pressure resistance Within the temperature range, it can withstand a working pressure of up to 3MPA

4: Anti-permeability The polytetrafluoroethylene resin is selected and processed into a high-density, sufficiently thick PTFE lining layer through advanced lining technology, so that the product has excellent anti-permeability

5: The overall molded sintering process lining solves the problem of cold and hot expansion and contraction of steel and fluorine, so that it can achieve synchronous expansion and contraction

6: Standardized size configuration is adopted, especially the pipes and pipe fittings used in chemical pipelines have strong interchangeability, which provides great convenience for installation and spare parts

- Anti-corrosion advantages

1. High-temperature resistance {highest operating temperature 260 degrees. }

2. Strong acid and alkali resistance {pH value between 1 and 14. }

3. Excellent adhesion {negative pressure can reach 0.09MPa, vacuum effect. }

4. Long service life (can be used for 8 to 10 years under normal conditions, and the warranty period is generally promised to be 1 year. )

5. Strong anti-penetration (hydrofluoric acid, chlorine, bromofluoric acid and other gases have good anti-penetration properties.)

- Scope of use

a. Operating temperature -20~200℃

b. Operating pressure ≤2.5Mpa

c. Allowable negative pressure DN≤250mm is -0.09Mpa, DN>250mm is -0.08Mpa

d. Can transport strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, strong oxidants, toxic, volatile, and flammable chemical media of any concentration.

- Performance

Performance: Medium working -100℃~-250℃
  Medium working pressure: Positive pressure: -2.5MPa, negative pressure resistance 70KPa at room temperature
  Corrosion resistance: Steel polytetrafluoroethylene composite pipes can resist almost all chemical media, including concentrated nitric acid and aqua regia, except molten metal lithium, potassium, sodium, chlorine trifluoride, high-temperature oxygen trifluoride, and high flow rate liquid fluorine. It can work at 230℃-250℃ for a long time. Steel polyvinylidene fluoride or other vinylidene fluoride composite pipes have good corrosion resistance to halogens, halogenated hydrocarbons, strong oxidizers, boiling acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents, but are not resistant to fuming sulfuric acid, concentrated hot sulfuric acid and nitric acid, ketones above 90℃, esters, amines, and high-temperature sulfonating agents.

- Advantages

High temperature resistance--the working temperature is up to 250℃.

Low temperature resistance - good mechanical toughness; even if the temperature drops to -196℃, it can maintain an elongation of 5%.

Corrosion resistance - inert to most chemicals and solvents, resistant to strong acids and alkalis, water and various organic solvents.

Weather resistance - has an aging life among plastics.

High lubricity - has the lowest friction coefficient among solid materials.

Non-adhesive - has the smallest surface tension among solid materials and does not adhere to any substance.

Non-toxic - non-toxic to organisms

- Product use

Application of steel-lined polytetrafluoroethylene pipes

Suitable for highly corrosive gases and liquids at high temperatures. Other types of steel-plastic composite pipes and metal pipes are not suitable for conveying media. Steel polytetrafluoroethylene composite pipes are suitable. Steel polyvinylidene fluoride composite pipes are suitable for conveying corrosive media with a working temperature of -40℃~+150℃.
