Compared to traditional reactive power compensation devices in substations, the voltage regulation reactive power automatic compensation device adopts a completely new technical approach, breaking through the conventional method of compensating reactive power by switching capacitors using circuit breakers, vacuum contactors, or other switchgear. This device does not rely on switching capacitors to compensate reactive power but instead utilizes the principle that the capacitive reactive power output of a capacitor is proportional to the square of its terminal voltage. By adjusting the output voltage of the voltage regulator, the terminal voltage of the fixed capacitor bank is altered, achieving fine-tuned reactive power compensation. This product has been granted a national patent, with patent number: ZL201020581802.3.
