The HSVG series high-voltage static var compensator is a reactive power compensation system based on IGBT technology, capable of rapidly and continuously providing capacitive or inductive reactive power. It can achieve control of constant reactive power, constant voltage, and constant power factor, ensuring the stable, efficient, and high-quality operation of the power system. In the distribution network, installing medium and small capacity HSVG products near specific loads (such as electric arc furnaces) can significantly improve the power quality at the point where the load connects to the public grid. This includes improving the power factor, overcoming three-phase imbalance, eliminating voltage flicker and fluctuations, and suppressing harmonic pollution.

The HSVG technology uses the latest generation of power electronic components and employs an AC-DC-AC method, combined with a phase-shifting transformer and modern computer control technology to achieve dynamic calculation, control, and compensation. The device features low harmonic content, fast response, and high reliability, which is entirely different from traditional fixed capacitor compensation and HSVC compensators using thyristor control.
