Wedoany.com Report on Mar 11th, According to the Fujian Provincial Department of Natural Resources, since the start of the "14th Five-Year Plan", Jiangle County in Fujian Province, China, has seized the strategic opportunity for prospecting breakthroughs. By integrating resources, increasing investment, and innovating mechanisms, it has achieved successive breakthrough progress in the exploration of mineral resources such as tungsten, lithium, and calcite.

Complementing the Province's Tungsten Resource Reserves

From May 2022 to December 2024, Jiangle County, Fujian Province, China, secured 7.62 million yuan in provincial special funds to advance the exploration project for tungsten polymetallic deposits in the Jiefangqiao mining area. The project comprehensively utilized modern exploration technologies and completed various geological survey tasks. After evaluation, the proven tungsten resource reserves in the mining area reached a large scale, ranking second in the province.

Filling the Gap in the Province's Lithium Resources

From January to November 2023, Jiangle County allocated 1.963 million yuan from its county-level fiscal funds specifically for the general survey of lithium polymetallic deposits in the Fengdi mining area. The work team innovatively proposed an exploration path of "first finding pegmatites, then searching for rare metal deposits" and established an integrated "air-space-ground" exploration system. This discovery is the first in the province to find a deposit dominated by lithium and co-associated with multiple rare elements, successfully filling the gap in the province's lithium resources. Currently, seven granite pegmatite veins have been discovered in the eastern part of the mining area, demonstrating good prospecting potential.

Resolving Resource Bottlenecks for the County's Non-metallic Industry

From May to July 2024, Jiangle County invested 280,000 yuan from its county-level fiscal funds for the investigation of calcite deposits in the periphery of the Niulan mining area. The project completed corresponding geological surveys and drilling work, newly discovering two calcite ore bodies. This exploration provides resource data support for the deep processing of calcite, further enriches the county's non-metallic mineral resource reserves, and addresses the shortcomings in industrial development.
