This investment aims to meet the growing market demand for recyclable packaging and support brands in transitioning to more sustainable packaging solutions.

The new facility enables large-scale production of high-barrier films for closures and pouches, products widely used in industries such as food, beverage, pet food, and healthcare. Among these, the AmLite HeatFlex material is an innovative solution suitable for autoclave applications, helping to achieve recyclability while maintaining excellent barrier properties. This technology complies with upcoming regulations, assisting brands in advancing their sustainability goals.

The expanded plant covers nearly 7,000 square meters and is equipped with complete production facilities, a new quality control laboratory, and an automated warehouse featuring temperature-controlled areas for material curing. Plant General Manager Elena Peron stated: "This new facility embodies Amcor's commitment to developing packaging that is recyclable, reusable, or compostable.
