en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 24th, Anaergia Srl, the Italian subsidiary of Anaergia Inc., has recently signed amendments to three previously announced contracts with entities of QGM S.à.rl. These contracts concern the development of biomethane production facilities in Ostellato, Copparo, and Derovere in northern Italy.
According to the amendments, Anaergia Srl's scope of activities in the aforementioned three projects has been expanded, increasing the company's total contract value from approximately CAD 68 million to approximately CAD 85 million, a rise of CAD 17 million.
The three projects were previously announced on March 31, 2025, and August 6, 2025, respectively. The projects will utilize Anaergia's anaerobic digestion technology to convert agricultural waste into renewable biomethane. Once completed, the facilities are expected to inject renewable natural gas into the national natural gas pipeline network, supporting Italy's decarbonization goals.
