GE Vernova Resumes Vineyard Wind Turbine Blade Installation

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 17,GE Vernova has informed the Town of Nantucket Select Board Chair Brooke Mohr that Vineyard Wind began installing blades on a wind turbine on Saturday, 14 December 2024, with work continuing throughout the weekend.
This marks the resumption of blade installations at the project site, following the October announcement that approval was granted to proceed once stringent safety and operational requirements were met. The Town of Nantucket remains committed to keeping the community informed on developments related to Vineyard Wind and will continue to monitor the project’s progress and share updates as they become available.
