en.Wedoany.com Reported - Constantia Flexibles will collaborate with thirty machinery suppliers to conduct live demonstrations of its Ecolutions series of flexible packaging materials at the interpack 2026 trade fair. These materials, which cover mono-polyethylene, mono-polypropylene, aluminum-based, and paper-based packaging, are all designed to be recyclable and are suitable for a wide range of applications including dairy, confectionery, snacks, dry foods, pet food, as well as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

The mono-polyethylene materials from the EcoLam series will be showcased in various bag formats such as inverted bags, stable bags, and stand-up pouches, many of which are equipped with zipper reclosure systems. The mono-polypropylene EcoVer series will be demonstrated on equipment producing side-gusseted bags, pillow bags, flow wraps, and stand-up pouches with spouts, to verify their performance in standard industrial processing environments.
Aluminum die-cut lids and polypropylene-based lids will also be processed and demonstrated on high-speed machinery; these lids are commonly used for sensitive products like dairy. Constantia's EcoPaper materials will be offered in various barrier grades and demonstrated in folding cartons and chocolate bar flow wraps, highlighting their printability and processing reliability.
The company will also showcase its polypropylene-based PERPETUA pharmaceutical material, a solution that has received RecyClass technical approval and is compatible with polypropylene recycling streams. Furthermore, Constantia Flexibles plans to remove packaging containing PFAS from its portfolio. Clients can already request PFAS-free designs, and multiple plants are working to eliminate PFAS, aiming to achieve this goal ahead of the regulatory deadline in August 2026.
Marc Rademacher, Executive Vice President Consumer Business, Group R&D, and Group Sustainability at Constantia Flexibles, stated: "Identifying the right material for each product is something we evaluate together with our clients on a case-by-case basis. Seeing our various materials running on equipment at a trade show provides valuable guidance. We are proud to be able to demonstrate the performance of our products in a real production environment, especially our Ecolutions series, which is specifically designed for recycling."
The company also introduced its patented lid concept, ComforLid, which replaces snap-on plastic lids and straws with a double-layer separable film, reportedly reducing CO₂ impact by 43%.
