en.Wedoany.com Reported - At 9:28 AM on April 7th, the Cangzhou CR Power Peak Shaving EPC project undertaken by China Energy Engineering Group Liaoning Electric Power Survey & Design Institute successfully completed its first concrete pouring, marking the official commencement of a new construction phase for the project. Wang Yongji, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of Liaoning Institute, attended the ceremony and delivered a statement.

At the ceremony, Wang Yongji, on behalf of Liaoning Institute, expressed gratitude to leaders at all levels and support from all sectors of society. He solemnly made four commitments: First, to strengthen technological leadership, strictly implement the latest industry standards, optimize design schemes, and ensure the safe and economical operation of the system. Second, to strictly adhere to safety and quality, establish a whole-process control system, strictly manage key procedures, and ensure 100% quality compliance and zero safety accidents. Third, to scientifically coordinate the construction schedule, promote full-process collaboration, accurately match unit maintenance plans, and ensure timely commissioning. Fourth, to provide comprehensive and collaborative services, proactively engage with all parties, assume full responsibility throughout the entire chain, ensuring problems are resolved promptly and services are never lacking.

This project is a key initiative to implement the national "dual carbon" strategy, promote heat-power decoupling of thermal power units, enhance the grid's deep peak-shaving capability, and secure residential heating and industrial steam supply. The construction scope includes 2 sets of 70MW high-voltage electrode steam boilers, 4 sets of 850m³ spherical steam storage tanks, and supporting systems. Upon completion, the project will achieve a peak-shaving capacity of no less than 140MW, address a heating supply gap of approximately 3.18 million square meters, and add an industrial steam extraction capacity of 70 tons per hour.

Liaoning Institute will continue to uphold the philosophy of "Technology Leads, Service First." During project implementation, it will strictly implement whole-process control, strengthen coordination among all participating units, and efficiently advance subsequent tasks such as procurement, construction, and commissioning. The institute is committed to building this project into a demonstration project for electrode boiler thermal storage peak-shaving and heat-power decoupling in North China, contributing high-quality engineering to support the implementation of the national "dual carbon" strategy and leveraging CEEC's capabilities to contribute to regional energy security and green, low-carbon development.
