The works include 18 bridge structures (totaling 914 meters in length), approximately 2.8 kilometers of noise barriers, 1.2 kilometers of interchange ramp roads, as well as utility relocations and drainage system installation. The construction period is approximately 46 months, commencing in April 2026, with the road expected to open to traffic 34 months later.

The new D35 section is part of the expansion of the Czech national highway network and, as a component of the international transport corridor E442, is crucial for both freight and passenger transport. The new route will replace the existing two-lane I/35 road, which suffers from chronic congestion due to heavy truck traffic.

STRABAG stated that the project will employ modern 3D machine control technology and lean methods to ensure efficient construction and logistics processes.
