en.Wedoany.com Reported - CalEthos and its subsidiary TerraVolt Infrastructure announced that it has signed a natural gas supply agreement with a marketing company to fuel the data center campus TerraVolt plans to build in southeastern Idaho.

Under the agreement, the supplier will deliver 55,000 MMBtu of natural gas per day to TerraVolt's behind-the-meter on-site power plant. The facility is designed to support the first phase of campus development, planned to provide 200 MW to 240 MW of power capacity for data center customers.Natural Gas Supply Agreement Signed for Idaho Data Center Campus

"This agreement will fuel the first phase of our campus development, currently planned to deliver 200 MW to 240 MW of power for data center customers without impacting the local power grid or increasing costs for local utility ratepayers," said Joel Stone, Chairman and CEO of CalEthos.

TerraVolt operates what the company calls a physical infrastructure-as-a-service platform, combining on-site natural gas power plants with pre-permitted data center building sites. The campus will be located on the Northwest Pipeline.

The natural gas supply agreement includes fuel management services designed to help manage customer demand and power plant operations as data center buildings are completed and begin operations.

TerraVolt focuses on acquiring and developing large tracts of land to build data center campuses for hyperscale computing companies, cloud service providers, and data center developers. The subsidiary specializes in land banking and infrastructure development for the data center industry. This information is based on a company press release statement.
