Named the Bangkok Data Centre, with the code TH1, the project is planned to provide 20MW of IT load and is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2027.
The location of the TH1 project reflects a shift in Southeast Asian data center construction from traditional colocation space expansion towards competition in infrastructure geared for AI, cloud computing, and high-density computing.
