Additionally, they demonstrate market resonance with both developers and enterprises, supported by viable business models, expanding ecosystems, and enterprise-grade governance, security, and operational maturity.
GitHub stated that its ongoing innovation in agentic development is reflected in several areas: respecting developer choice by including multiple models from multiple providers and integrating Copilot into various interfaces such as code editors, CLI, IDE, as well as GitHub's web, desktop, and mobile applications; integrating Copilot across the entire software lifecycle including issues, code reviews, pull requests, and actions; and providing engineering teams with governance controls to observe, audit, and ensure the security of AI usage.
