en.Wedoany.com Reported - King's Cross Group has released the latest plans for the redevelopment of St Pancras Hospital, drawn up by seven architecture firms led by masterplanner Bennetts Associates.

The group manages the 67-acre King's Cross neighbourhood in north London. The visuals were released as the 3.2-acre hospital site enters the next phase of public consultation. St Pancras Hospital is located directly north of St Pancras International Station, opposite Heatherwick's Coal Drops Yard shopping centre across Regent's Canal.
The new plans further refine the design details of individual plots, buildings and public spaces, with contributions from Bennetts Associates, Howells, AHMM, Maccreanor Lavington Architects, Ryder Architecture, Roots and Erect, and Gillespies. The £500 million redevelopment proposal retains five existing buildings on the hospital site: South Wing, Gatehouse, West Wing, East Wing, and Residence Building.
The plans provide 180 new homes, an increase of 70 from the 2024 proposal, with 40% designated as affordable housing. The refurbished South Wing will upgrade medical facilities, complementing the new Moorfields and UCL Centre for Eye Health being built next door. The scheme also includes over 44,000 square metres of commercial space, along with cafes, convenience retail and local services. More than half of the site will be open public space, with improved connectivity to King's Cross and Somers Town.
The planning application will be submitted to Camden council in late summer this year. Related Argent is the development manager for the project.
