en.Wedoany.com Reported - NDS (엔디에스) recently announced that it has won the bid for the "Gyeonggi-do Cloud Computing System Construction Phase 2 Project" and will leverage its infrastructure construction capabilities to support Gyeonggi-do (경기도) in upgrading its cloud-based administrative governance environment.

The project aims to migrate Gyeonggi-do's major information services to the cloud, enhancing operational efficiency and security, while addressing the demands of AI-based digital government services. Gyeonggi-do plans to improve the efficiency of information resource utilization and strengthen the foundation for stable government service delivery through cloud-based upgrades, the establishment of a unified management system, and the provision of shared infrastructure for public institutions, cities, and counties within the province.

In this project, NDS will build a cloud computing system based on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), and implement cloud migration for 21 information systems, including the Gyeonggi-do comprehensive website. NDS will also establish a unified backup system and resource management monitoring environment to enhance system stability, and provide consulting for the formulation of a shared cloud computing utilization plan for Gyeonggi-do. The main scope of construction covers cloud infrastructure, IaaS, PaaS, Cloud Management Platform (CMP), cloud monitoring, and unified backup solutions.

In the first phase of the project, NDS built a cloud migration environment and operational management system for major business systems, and introduced an open architecture based on open-source Kubernetes, laying the foundation for Gyeonggi-do to steadily advance cloud migration in stages.
