The parties plan to collaborate on Building Information Modeling (BIM), information management, artificial intelligence, and machine learning applications, applying these technologies to design, project execution, construction supervision, maintenance support, safety systems, and operational control.

The MoU also includes research, innovation, and specialized technical training, with potential involvement from King Saud University. The parties plan to conduct joint research and development, technology transfer, and skill development for the regional railway workforce.
The scope of the agreement covers operations and maintenance, freight and logistics, advisory services for institutional and private investors, and railway safety reference models. The parties will also collaborate on certification standards, digital tools, and a joint center of excellence for the design, production, inspection, testing, certification, and management of railway assets.
The parties also plan to develop railway testing expertise in Saudi Arabia to support the establishment of a regional testing center, conducting static and dynamic tests, rolling stock and signaling system validation, as well as performance, resilience, and operational safety assessments.
A joint working group will be established to oversee and guide the implementation of the MoU.
