en.Wedoany.com Reported - Caterpillar is set to introduce the all-new TUL100 compact utility loader, a 24-horsepower machine with a rated operating capacity of 1,000 pounds, which will officially enter commercial markets in the first half of 2027, with production scheduled to begin in the second half of this year.

Caterpillar's construction equipment product line covers nearly all major categories, but compact utility loaders—often referred to as stand-on mini loaders or mini track loaders—have long been a notable gap. The manufacturer is now targeting this growing compact equipment market with a new model to fill the void.

According to Fusable's EDA financing data, compact utility loaders rank as the fifth most popular product category in new equipment financing sales, with nearly 11,000 units sold in 2025. The top five manufacturers in this market are currently Bobcat, Kubota, Toro, Ditch Witch, and Vermeer.

The TUL100 will be powered by a 24-horsepower Cat 1.1 turbocharged diesel engine, equipped with a hydraulic system delivering a flow rate of 16 gallons per minute (32.5 hydraulic horsepower, with pressure up to 3,046 psi). The machine's operating weight is 3,600 pounds, with a maximum lift height of 7 feet. Three undercarriage configurations are available: 36-inch narrow tracks with CII (Common Industry Interface) quick coupler, 42-inch wide tracks with CII, and 42-inch wide tracks with NSSL (Narrow Skid-Steer Loader) quick coupler.

Caterpillar has also developed a range of compact utility loader attachments for this new model, including augers, power box rakes, trenchers, buckets, and forks, to enhance the machine's versatility. Other features on the display prototype include a digital display, LED engine hood lights, and a lockable engine compartment.

At the ConExpo 2026 trade show, Dustin Adams, Caterpillar's product commercialization manager, introduced this product to Equipment World.
