County Lifting in the UK Takes Delivery of a 90-Tonne Liebherr All-Terrain Crane

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 7, UK-based lifting and heavy equipment services provider County Lifting Services took delivery of a 90-tonne-class Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 all-terrain crane, adding the new unit to its regular working fleet. This delivery comes shortly after the company received a 50-tonne-class LTM 1050-3.1 crane, further expanding its mobile crane configuration.

The LTM 1090-4.2 delivered this time features a four-axle chassis, a maximum lifting capacity of 90 tonnes, and a 60-meter telescopic main boom. According to official Liebherr technical data, the crane achieves a maximum hook height of 76 meters and a maximum working radius of 62 meters, and can be fitted with a lattice fly jib of up to 16 meters in length. The machine is powered by a 330 kW six-cylinder diesel engine, with a standard drive/steering configuration of 8×6×8 and a total counterweight of 22.5 tonnes.

The equipment received by County Lifting is also configured with the VarioBase variable outrigger system, which calculates the permissible lifting capacity based on the actual outrigger extension positions, and is equipped with ECOdrive and ECOmode operating systems. Liebherr has designed different road travel axle load configurations for the LTM 1090-4.2, allowing it to be set up for axle loads of 10 tonnes, 12 tonnes, and 16 tonnes. Among these, the 60-meter telescopic boom represents an increase of 10 meters over the previous-generation LTM 1090-4.1.

County Lifting primarily handles the lifting, transport, and installation of heavy, high-value, and precision equipment, with operations covering industrial production equipment, rail vehicles, aircraft, and other engineering equipment. Its existing fleet includes all-terrain cranes up to the 130-tonne class, as well as spider cranes, Pick & Carry cranes, loader cranes, and heavy forklift equipment. With the addition of this 90-tonne-class unit to the fleet, it now forms a new mid-range mobile lifting capacity configuration together with the 50-tonne-class unit recently received by the company.
