LiuGong Canada Subsidiary Officially Opens in Quebec on September 4
en.Wedoany.com Reported - LiuGong's Canadian subsidiary has officially established its presence in Quebec, with the new organization focused on dealer support, customer service, and business development in the Canadian market. More than 100 LiuGong dealers, customers, suppliers, and employees attended the opening event, jointly witnessing the establishment of this regional operational entity.

The opening ceremony was held on Friday, September 4, and was co-hosted by Dongchun Li, Vice President of Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., Andrew Ryan, President of LiuGong North America, and Jim Miao, General Manager of LiuGong Canada. The event attracted dealers, customers, suppliers, and employees from the Canadian dealer network, providing the new organization with an opportunity for in-depth exchanges with future partners.
LiuGong has served the Canadian market through its dealer network for more than a decade. The establishment of LiuGong Canada builds on these existing partnerships by creating a localized organization dedicated specifically to the Canadian market and its customers, strengthening these relationships. Led by General Manager Jim Miao, the organization's focus covers dealer development, parts and service support, product training, and customer engagement across Canada's provinces and territories.
Speaking at the ceremony about the original intent behind establishing LiuGong Canada, Dongchun Li stated that LiuGong does not build roads, construct bridges, extract resources, or harvest forests—the people who truly do this work are building Canada's future, and LiuGong's mission is to provide them with reliable equipment and ongoing support. Establishing LiuGong Canada is precisely about getting closer to customers and fulfilling the commitment to long-term support.
Jim Miao noted that LiuGong Canada will build a team that understands the local market, working closely with dealers to bring LiuGong's resources directly to equipment users. He remarked that customers understand their own businesses, dealers know their communities, and LiuGong Canada's responsibility is to provide customers with the products, parts, technical support, and factory resources they need to succeed.
On the product front, LiuGong Canada will support a growing portfolio of construction machinery and material handling equipment, encompassing excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, motor graders, compact equipment, forklifts, aerial work platforms, and battery-electric equipment. Meanwhile, resources from LiuGong's global engineering, manufacturing, and R&D organizations will also be brought into the Canadian market to strengthen local access to technology, expertise, and equipment, serving Canada's construction, resource, forestry, and infrastructure operations.
Andrew Ryan stated that LiuGong is building a business in Canada, not just selling equipment—which means investing in dealers, parts and service capabilities, and the people who support customers. He noted that trust takes time, and LiuGong is prepared to put in the effort and earn that trust. LiuGong stated that this regional subsidiary establishment reflects its long-term commitment to contractors, equipment owners, and communities that rely on dependable equipment to get the job done under Canada's demanding operating conditions.
