en.Wedoany.com Reported - Sulnox Group plc has signed a four-year agreement with Eastern Pacific Shipping to expand the use of its fuel conditioning product, Sulnox Eco, from approximately 30 vessels to over 50. This deal represents the largest commercial collaboration in Sulnox's history.

The contract stipulates the supply of approximately 1.2 million liters of Sulnox Eco over the agreement period, while EPS Ventures, the investment arm of Eastern Pacific Shipping, will make an additional strategic investment.
The agreement is based on over two years of operational validation on container ships, bulk carriers, tankers, and car carriers. Eastern Pacific Shipping recorded fuel savings of 3% to 5%, visible reduction in black smoke emissions, improved engine cleanliness, reduced sludge generation, and enhanced fuel performance.
Independent tests commissioned by Eastern Pacific Shipping showed a 20% to 23% improvement in the lubricity of low-sulfur marine gas oil.
Sulnox stated that practical use with biofuel blends also demonstrated benefits in fuel stability, lubricity, and engine cleanliness. The expanded deployment will cover newbuild vessels.
Eastern Pacific Shipping will continue to support Sulnox's research, development, and validation efforts through practical testing, with the collaboration expected to cover fuel efficiency, emission reduction, biofuel performance, and other maritime decarbonization technologies.
Subject to relevant conditions, EPS Ventures plans to increase its stake in Sulnox from approximately 6.5% to 13.9%.
Sulnox CEO Ben Richardson stated that moving from evaluation and initial deployment to a long-term agreement with an increased shareholding "confirms the value that Sulnox Eco consistently delivers in real-world operations."
Sachin Saharawat, Technical Director of Eastern Pacific Shipping, said Sulnox Eco has demonstrated "quantifiable benefits across a wide range of vessel types, fuel applications, and operating environments." He described the technology as "simple to deploy" and noted that it has produced consistent results during evaluation and practical use.
Sulnox Group plc is a UK public limited company that develops fuel conditioning products for transportation, energy, and industrial fuel users. Eastern Pacific Shipping is a privately owned ship management company with over 60 years of history, managing more than 350 vessels across container ships, tankers, dry bulk carriers, gas carriers, and car carriers, with approximately 8,000 employees.
