en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Polish Digital Projects Center (Centrum Projektów Polska Cyfrowa, CPPC) has reported that, according to data collected by the SIMBA (System Informacyjny ds. Monitorowania, Badań i Analiz) system, as of now, 314,816 residential units have been included in the network coverage under the framework of the National Recovery Plan (Krajowy Plan Odbudowy, KPO) project. This system is used to record address points covered by telecommunications networks built with EU investments.

This data is as of mid-June. Two weeks ago, the number of covered residential units was 294,102. The CPPC plans to publish subsequent related data on June 30, 2026.

This announcement is related to potential construction delays in KPO tender projects. The CPPC previously stated that such delays could be realized if the number of residential units covered by networks in all KPO projects reaches 521,000 by the end of August this year. This indicator is a necessary condition for the European Commission to approve the relevant indicators of the KPO in the field of fast internet construction.

To this end, the CPPC has, as usual, required project beneficiaries to accelerate work progress to ensure the projects are completed on schedule.
