en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 24, the opening day of Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2026 (MWC Shanghai), Honor defined the next-generation mobile operating system, Agentic OS, for the first time. This human-centric operating system features four core characteristics: intent-driven, natural interaction, proactive intelligence, and native cross-device capability, aiming to evolve mobile terminals from "tools" to "companions."

In a keynote speech, Honor's President of Product Line, Fang Fei, pointed out that in the AI era, terminal manufacturers hold a unique position. The terminals of the next decade will no longer be "containers for applications" but "stages for intelligent agents." Terminals connect users on one end, understanding real people and scenarios, and on the other end, they connect to cloud-based models, computing power supply, and the entire AI service ecosystem. At the same time, terminals themselves are a collection of computing power, sensors, interaction, and action capabilities. Terminals are not downstream entities defined by model capabilities but the essential pathway for AI to enter real life and reach users.

According to Honor, the next-generation mobile operating system, Agentic OS, includes four core features: intent-driven, focusing on "intent rather than applications"; natural interaction, where "senses serve as the entry point, and voice, gestures, gaze, and actions are all inputs"; proactive intelligence with an "Agent core," capable of proactive planning, proactive service, and proactive execution; and native cross-device capability, enabling "one brain to orchestrate thousands of devices, with multi-device and multi-Agent collaboration."

Currently, Honor is actively building the human-centric next-generation terminal operating system, Agentic OS, and injecting the perception, planning, and action capabilities of AI Agents into mobile terminals, driving the reconstruction of product forms, human-computer interaction, and system experience.

In terms of perception, Honor leads the continuous evolution of perception methods and promotes the ubiquity of perception distribution. In perception methods, platform-level AI capabilities empower "YOYO Suggestions" to perceive scenarios and understand intent, achieving for the first time a shift from "people seeking services" to "services seeking people." In perception distribution, Honor uses the phone as the computing hub and scheduling center, distributing AI perception capabilities to devices such as watches, earphones, and glasses, freeing users' hands. In terms of planning, Honor has deployed a self-developed end-cloud large model matrix and released YOYO Claw, covering various devices including PCs, phones, tablets, and smart home appliances. In terms of action, leveraging Magic GUI, the Magic Agent large model, and system-level sensors, Honor empowers the YOYO intelligent agent to enhance system-level perception capabilities, serving as context for the Agent to improve YOYO's understanding of user intent and task decomposition, efficiently automating multi-step complex tasks. Additionally, Honor's Robot Phone achieves embodied intelligent interaction, giving terminals flexible action capabilities; Honor's self-developed humanoid robot has entered real-world competitions and broken the human half-marathon record in less than a year.

Leveraging its accumulated core capabilities in perception, planning, and action, Honor has achieved a leap in experience across multiple AI terminal products. According to reports, Honor will release the complete technical framework of Agentic OS in July 2026, with phased results subsequently unveiled to users through MagicOS 11.

As a key carrier of these phased results, MagicOS 11 not only carries the intelligent scheduling capabilities of Agentic OS but also introduces the industry's first liquid glass design on Android. This is the industry's first dynamic liquid glass solution, presenting a realistic glass texture from the lock screen to the desktop and system icons, offering breathable refinement while maintaining clear and readable information.

Furthermore, based on its accumulation in the AI terminal ecosystem, Honor, under the leadership of GSMA, spearheaded the research and release of the world's first "6G Terminal Research Report" during this conference. The report focuses on the development direction of the terminal industry in the AI and 6G era, preliminarily exploring four typical capabilities of future terminals, seven typical terminal types, and four potential economic growth points brought by 6G terminals.

In the future, Honor will continue to build a smart ecosystem with the Alpha Strategy, creating a full-scenario AI terminal ecosystem centered on user needs in high-frequency AI usage scenarios such as content creation, mobile office, sports and health, smart travel, family companionship, and social expression.
