The meeting was jointly organized by the Indian Embassy in the United States, the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), and the Silverado Policy Accelerator.

India's Ambassador to the United States, Vinay Mohan Kwatra; Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), S. Krishnan; and U.S. Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce, Bill Guidera, addressed representatives from Indian and American companies in the chips, critical minerals, and artificial intelligence sectors at the meeting. Also participating in the discussions were Additional Secretary for the Americas in India's Ministry of External Affairs, Nagaraj Naidu; USISPF President Mukesh Aghi; and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy, Christopher Saldana.

The discussions focused on improving the investment environment, removing barriers to joint investments, creating sustained demand signals, and expanding AI cooperation at both frontier and applied levels. On June 8, Ambassador Kwatra also met with retail giant Walmart's President and CEO, Chris Nicholas, to discuss Walmart's investment footprint in India, long-term growth plans, and supply chain resilience building. On the same day, he also met with President and CEO of the Special Competitive Studies Project (SCSP), Ylli Bajraktari, to exchange views on quantum technology, the future of AI, and India-U.S. technology cooperation, setting the stage for Bajraktari's upcoming visit to New Delhi for the India-U.S. Forum.
