According to an announcement by Sunny Optical on June 25, the company's board of directors resolved on June 18 that, subject to Goertek Inc. obtaining relevant shareholder approval at its shareholders' meeting on June 25, Ningbo Aolai will join Goertek Inc. as subscribers to enter into a subscription agreement with Goertek Optics. Under the agreement, Ningbo Aolai and Goertek Inc. will each invest 500 million yuan in Goertek Optics, subscribing for approximately 109.76 million yuan of new registered capital each.
Upon completion of this capital increase and share expansion, Ningbo Aolai will hold approximately 33.27% of the equity in Goertek Optics, maintaining its position as the second largest shareholder. Currently, Ningbo Aolai holds about 31.12% of the equity in Goertek Optics, while Ningbo Shun'ao and Ningbo Shuncheng collectively hold approximately 3.1% of the equity.
