en.Wedoany.com Reported - Boston Dynamics announced yesterday that it plans to transform a 323,000-square-foot facility in Waltham, Massachusetts, into an advanced robotics and artificial intelligence center. The company will invest $100 million in the project, which is expected to create 1,250 new jobs by 2033.

The company received a $25 million award from the Economic Development Incentive Program to fund renovations and construction needed for manufacturing, workforce training, and operations related to the Atlas, Spot, and Stretch platforms.

The facility, located at 1601 Trapelo Road (Reservoir Place), is near the company's existing headquarters and about 12 miles from Boston. The new building will consolidate operations currently spread across three nearby locations and expand its capabilities in advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, workforce training, and research and development.

Boston Dynamics expects to begin phased move-ins to the new facility from mid-2027. The project is being developed in partnership with BXP, which has owned the property since 1998.
