This upgrade integrates multiple innovations, including agent-based AIOps, private cloud, and AI infrastructure software, primarily addressing rising virtualization costs, the need for infrastructure modernization driven by AI workloads, and the simplification of complex operational processes.
Fidelma Russo, President of HPE's Hybrid Cloud division, noted that the enhanced GreenLake provides enterprises with a proven, integrated path for deploying agent-based hybrid operational environments and lays the foundation for future autonomous operations.

At the AI factory and hybrid environment level, GreenLake Intelligence becomes the core for delivering an agentic AI operational experience. This framework includes a centralized agent registry, intelligent planning and orchestration capabilities, and security governance controls, allowing enterprises to centrally manage and coordinate AI agents across infrastructure, applications, and operational workloads. HPE OpsRamp Operations Copilot has added observability support for agents and large language models (LLMs), helping enterprises monitor AI usage, control token consumption, and account for operational costs across multi-agent and multi-vendor AI factories and workloads. This Copilot utilizes full-stack telemetry correlation analysis and root cause analysis of agent environments to proactively detect anomalies. HPE has partnered with ServiceNow to bridge real-time full-stack insights with autonomous AI service delivery. By integrating GreenLake Intelligence with ServiceNow's autonomous AI Workforce system, the two companies have built a single source of truth (SSOT) for agentic IT operations, spanning from full-stack observability of AI infrastructure to end-to-end autonomous service delivery.
In the area of enterprise virtualization alternatives, HPE has launched Morpheus software, which integrates observability, operational functions, and self-service provisioning for hybrid cloud environments. Enterprises can configure and manage virtual machine and container workloads using a per-CPU socket subscription model, leveraging AI-driven insights and telemetry correlation analysis for stable operations. As part of GreenLake Intelligence, the newly introduced HPE Morpheus Orchestration Copilot aims to address the high costs and error-prone nature of manual operations, complex steps, and fragmented tools in infrastructure and workload provisioning and orchestration. HPE Morpheus Central, delivered through GreenLake, provides centralized visibility, governance, and management across multiple Morpheus deployment environments. Software-defined networking (SDN) is formally integrated into Morpheus, supporting zero-trust security, multi-tenant isolation, unified policy enforcement, and VXLAN overlay networks to reduce provisioning time. Additionally, through integration with HPE Juniper Apstra, Morpheus offers intent-based closed-loop network automation, continuously validating real-time network states, eliminating configuration drift, and automatically implementing large-scale policies.
In the private cloud and virtualization domain, HPE announced an expanded strategic partnership with Citrix. For customers with on-premises and sovereign cloud deployment needs, HPE will prioritize offering Citrix Desktop as a Service (DaaS) based on GreenLake. Furthermore, plans are in place to integrate Citrix DaaS and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops into HPE Morpheus software VM Essential, achieving unified orchestration, automation, and visibility within the GreenLake hybrid environment via HPE CloudOps software. HPE's private cloud portfolio, built on Morpheus, provides a single control plane from edge to data center and from VMs to containers, supporting standardized integrated air-gapped deployments for closed network or sovereign environments. The HPE Private Cloud PC3000 has been updated to support air-gapped deployments in edge and core environments and is certified for VMware vSphere 9, allowing users to stay current without changing platforms, while Morpheus centrally manages HPE VMs and containers on a single platform. The HPE Private Cloud PC7000 targets managed, large-scale, and mission-critical environments, helping modernize data center operations by offering infrastructure as code (including Terraform support), automated private cloud operations, and features validated for VMware vSphere 9. Additionally, HPE offers the flexible, on-demand consumption model GreenLake Flex solution to simplify hybrid infrastructure operations. Its unified interface integrates hybrid observability, IT sustainability insights, and consumption analytics, enabling customers to manage all tools and functions from a single location.
