en.Wedoany.com Reported - Orange has deployed a data integration and governance project for the Valencia Conference Centre. The project unifies multi-source information from in-building sensors, building management systems, customer relationship management, and digital twins through a data pool, preventing data fragmentation or duplication.

Orange drives smart management at Valencia Conference Centre

In recent years, the Valencia Conference Centre has deployed sensor systems, a building management platform, customer relationship tools, and AI-based workload and event scheduling optimization applications through the first phase of its digital twin initiative. These processes generate a large volume of high-value data, but previously this data was scattered across independent systems without effective integration.

The solution deployed by Orange automatically collects data from multiple sources, centrally manages and governs information, tracks data lineage from source to various uses, and enables different systems, applications, and teams to easily consume information without requiring specialized integration. The data pool is designed as a scalable solution based on open-source technology, deployed on the client's own infrastructure to avoid reliance on proprietary solutions and high licensing costs.

With this solution, all systems share a common language, ensuring information consistency and reliability, facilitating more efficient decision-making and more sustainable building management. Additionally, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) will participate in measuring and analyzing the conference centre's carbon footprint to objectively track its environmental impact. This approach not only improves operational efficiency but also enhances the experience for organizers, attendees, and visitors, solidifying the conference centre's position as a benchmark venue for large conferences and events, while boosting Valencia's competitiveness as a business tourism destination. Orange stated that the Valencia Conference Centre can now make operational and strategic decisions based on integrated information, optimize building and resource management, reduce the time and effort required for analysis, and accelerate the deployment of new digital projects in a more agile and efficient manner.
