en.Wedoany.com Reported - Epsilon Telecommunications has signed a cooperation agreement with ESpanix to meet the demand for flexible, low-latency, and scalable connectivity between the Iberian Peninsula and global markets. Through this partnership, global customers can access the high-performance cloud, data center, and network exchange ecosystem across the peninsula, while expanding coverage via Epsilon's global network.

Epsilon and ESpanix Sign Cooperation Agreement

ESpanix customers in Madrid and Barcelona can instantly access Epsilon's global network, connecting on-demand to hundreds of cloud regions worldwide, supporting hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. On the other hand, Epsilon customers gain low-latency access to ESpanix's neutral network infrastructure through its on-demand Network as a Service (NaaS) platform, Infiny. This enables organizations to remotely access the Iberian interconnection ecosystem without deploying local infrastructure, accelerating time to market.

Another advantage of this collaboration is optimizing global content delivery performance and improving cross-continental enterprise connectivity. Customers can seamlessly activate services via Epsilon's Infiny platform to connect to ESpanix's exchange nodes. Enterprises benefit from ESpanix's low-latency connectivity within the Iberian Peninsula, supporting real-time applications including AI-driven workloads, native cloud platforms, and collaboration tools.

Mark Daley, Director of Digital Strategy and Business Development at Epsilon, stated that the Iberian Peninsula is becoming a core hub and strategic gateway for global traffic flows, connecting Europe, Africa, and the Americas via terrestrial links and submarine cables linking Barcelona, Valencia, Almería, Lisbon, and Bilbao. The alliance with ESpanix enables Epsilon to leverage its local presence and expertise in Madrid and Barcelona, combined with the region's submarine landing points, to provide the low-latency and resilient connectivity required by international customers, simplifying global network complexity and offering scalable foundations for next-generation artificial intelligence and cloud services.

Amedeo Beck Peccoz, Director of Strategy at ESpanix, added that partnering with Epsilon marks a significant step for ESpanix in serving an increasingly globalized customer base. The strategic location of their infrastructure in Madrid and Barcelona offers unique advantages for traffic engineering strategies aimed at reducing latency between Europe, emerging markets in Africa, and the Americas. ESpanix aims to provide seamless connectivity to drive digital growth and accelerate innovation, while targeting markets in the Middle East and Asia with Epsilon's support. ESpanix operates interconnection, data center, and value-added services, with its Madrid data center meeting Tier IV specifications and an extensive network of remote access points (PARs) in Madrid and Barcelona. This ecosystem includes a highly concentrated group of internet service providers, carriers, and content networks, enabling direct traffic exchange and reducing reliance on transit providers. Epsilon adds automated orchestration and multiple routing options through its global network, providing customers with a globally scalable architecture.
