en.Wedoany.com Reported - Magna AI, a global full-value-chain sovereign AI provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with Emaar Executive Company (EEC), a Saudi Arabia-based data center construction specialist, to build sovereign AI infrastructure across the Kingdom.
The collaboration aims to support the planning, development, and delivery of sovereign AI data centers, AI factory infrastructure, secure AI platforms, and large-scale AI transformation projects in Saudi Arabia, with potential expansion into the broader Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market.
Magna AI was established through a partnership between Trend Micro and Wistron Digital Technology Holding Company (WDH), with technical support from NVIDIA. Emaar Executive Company (EEC) specializes in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), system integration, and infrastructure services.
Under the agreement, Magna AI will lead AI factory architecture, platform development, and AI security and governance, while Emaar Executive Company will handle core engineering and construction operations, including EPC execution, data center construction, civil, mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage system integration, on-site project management, facility support, and regulatory coordination.

"The strength of sovereign AI depends entirely on its underlying infrastructure, which must be built and operated within Saudi Arabia to the highest engineering standards," said Dr. Moataz BinAli, CEO of Magna AI. "Emaar Executive Company brings proven construction and engineering discipline to turn AI vision into operational data centers. Together, we can deliver AI infrastructure that Saudi government and enterprise organizations own, control, and can scale with confidence."
"Building national-level AI infrastructure requires engineering discipline, local capability, and reliable delivery," said Karthik Ramaswamy, CEO of Emaar Executive Company. "By combining our EPC system integration strengths with Magna's expertise in AI factories, we can build and operate the data center infrastructure that underpins Saudi Arabia's AI agenda, meeting the standards required by national and corporate institutions. Together, we will help clients turn AI vision into deployable infrastructure and measurable outcomes."
The two companies aim to jointly deploy secure, scalable, and locally compliant AI infrastructure for government agencies, regulated industries, enterprises, startups, and academic institutions. The collaboration is expected to cover the entire process from initial infrastructure development to long-term operations, including site selection, feasibility studies, and business case development; AI data center system integration; energy, cooling, and sustainability optimization; and secure, compliant operations meeting Saudi data residency and cybersecurity requirements.
