Following high-level talks between Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, William Kabogo Gitau, and Egypt's Ambassador to Kenya, Hatem Yousri Hosni, both sides announced the deepening of their digital partnership.Kenya Egypt AI Partnership

During the courtesy meeting, the two officials explored opportunities to expand cooperation in key areas including artificial intelligence, digital transformation, e-government, ICT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital skills development. Both sides agreed that enhancing knowledge exchange and capacity-building initiatives would accelerate innovation, promote digital inclusion, and boost the technological capabilities of both countries.

The talks emphasized the importance of sharing expertise to support the development of resilient and future-oriented digital ecosystems. Kabogo reaffirmed the commitment of Kenya's Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy to collaborate with Egypt through closer technical partnerships to advance shared digital priorities.
