en.Wedoany.com Reported - Abu Dhabi Ports Group (AD Ports Group) has fulfilled over $789.51 million in commitments for supply chain and logistics investments in Kazakhstan, earning its Managing Director and CEO, Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, the Order of Friendship of Kazakhstan. The award ceremony was held at the Presidential Palace in Astana, where Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented the honor in recognition of his significant contributions to regional and international mutual understanding and cooperation.

Over the past four years, AD Ports Group has advanced port and logistics projects in Kazakhstan, including: a western oil pipeline transporting Kazakh oil via the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan; the development of the Saza Grain Terminal at the Port of Kuryk with local partners; and a joint venture with KTZ Express (Kazakhstan's railway freight division) to operate a Central Asian logistics company. These investments aim to strengthen the Middle Corridor land trade route, connecting Asia, Central Asia, Europe, and global markets. Al Shamisi stated that this recognition reflects the strength of UAE-Kazakhstan relations and the success of their joint efforts in advancing trade and investment cooperation, pledging continued support for projects that improve connectivity and promote Kazakhstan's sustainable development.
