en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Korea Cement Association (KCA) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL) to jointly advance the research and development of low-carbon cement technologies and enhance quality competitiveness.
Under the agreement, the two parties will conduct joint R&D focused on carbon neutrality goals and resource circulation, and develop testing, evaluation, and standardization technologies for new cement production processes and products. The collaboration also includes organizing seminars and joint technical forums on cement and concrete quality control.
The two parties plan to cooperate in the digital transformation of cement manufacturing, specifically involving the development of an artificial intelligence-based quality control system.
The Korea Cement Association stated that it will support member companies in participating in joint R&D, demonstration projects, and product testing. Ongoing cooperation projects include research on cement safety and the standardization of chloride ion detection in concrete.
