en.Wedoany.com Reported - Carlos Sarmiento Pezo, General Manager of Peruvian natural pigment and industrial raw materials company Pronex S.A., revealed to the ADEX Weekly Peru Export Briefing that the company plans to diversify its products and accelerate large-scale production of its main lines in the coming months to consolidate its position in demanding markets such as the United States, China, and Europe.
The company, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in October, exports over 98% of its products. Carlos Sarmiento Pezo detailed the growth expectations for each product line: production of Genipa americana (a novel blue pigment) could increase by up to 50%, tara powder and tara gum by 30% to 40%, annatto raw materials by up to 15%, and cochineal extract by 6% to 7%.
Pronex currently operates six production lines: cochineal extract, carminic acid, annatto derivatives (norbixin and bixin), purple corn extract, Genipa americana, and high-value-added tara products.
