en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 3, Swedish energy and infrastructure consultancy AFRY advanced engineering services for a 70MWac/78MWp solar photovoltaic project in the Philippines. The project owner is Linglingay Power Corp, a project company under Singapore-based HEXA Renewables. Located in Gamu, Isabela Province, the solar project spans approximately 76 hectares.

AFRY previously served as a technical advisor during the technical due diligence phase of the project asset acquisition. It now continues as the owner's engineer, participating in the pre-construction and construction phases of the solar project. Its scope of work includes reviewing project designs, preparing EPC tender documents, supervising the construction process, and supporting testing, commissioning, and handover. The solar project will connect to the Philippine National Grid Corporation's Gamu 69 kV switching station via a 1.2 km double-circuit transmission line.

This solar project is a ground-mounted power station, serving the power supply needs of the northern Luzon grid in the Philippines. Upon advancement, it will add new capacity to the local renewable energy installation and provide engineering support for subsequent grid connection and project delivery. The construction timeline of the solar project will be determined based on EPC tendering, equipment supply, construction organization, and grid connection testing arrangements.
