en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, Zeng Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Chongqing Logistics Group, and Qu Hong, Member of the Party Committee of Chongqing Logistics Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Chongqing Port, led a team to visit Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) for exchanges. They engaged in practical discussions with Yu Fulin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of SIPG, and Liu Changman, Vice President of SIPG, on deepening port and shipping logistics cooperation between Chongqing and Shanghai.

During the symposium, Yu Fulin welcomed the visit of Zeng Yong and his delegation and introduced the development achievements of SIPG during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and since the beginning of the "15th Five-Year Plan."

Yu Fulin fully affirmed the results of the strategic cooperation between Chongqing Port and Shanghai Port. He stated that both sides would strengthen information exchange, seriously study and vigorously support the reform and development of Chongqing Port, and jointly build a regional logistics supply chain system with the highest efficiency, lowest cost, and best service.

Zeng Yong noted that the port and shipping logistics cooperation between Chongqing and Shanghai has a long history, with both sides sharing profound strategic friendship, deep strategic mutual trust, mature linkage mechanisms, and broad room for collaboration.

He further stated that, building on the solid foundation of their joint venture cooperation, the next step would be to continuously deepen the strategic cooperation between the two ports, further improve the development quality of Chongqing Port, and strive to form a replicable and scalable port and shipping collaboration model. This would serve to build an open pattern of mutual east-west support and make greater contributions to the economic and social development of both Chongqing and Shanghai.
