en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 6, the humanoid robot subsidiary of China's ASD signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Zhiyuan Robot. The two parties will collaborate in five major areas: procurement orders and product delivery, commissioned manufacturing of embodied intelligent robots, supply chain cooperation, technical support and scenario-based applications, as well as equity investment and the establishment of joint ventures.

The focus of this cooperation goes beyond establishing business transactions between the two companies; it integrates robot bodies, manufacturing capabilities, application scenarios, and capital cooperation within a single framework. China's ASD, originally based on cookware, small home appliances, and industrial robots, has accumulated manufacturing experience through its subsidiary QJ Robot in areas such as industrial robot bodies, reducers, controllers, and automated production lines. Meanwhile, China Zhiyuan Robot focuses on embodied intelligent robot products, AI models, scenario solutions, and ecosystem development. According to the agreement, the two parties will, on one hand, form more direct business connections around procurement orders and product delivery, and on the other hand, collaborate on commissioned manufacturing of embodied intelligent robots and supply chain coordination. For humanoid robot companies, the transition from prototype demonstration to batch delivery often depends on manufacturing organization capabilities, core component supply, quality control, and delivery stability. ASD provides a foundation in manufacturing and scenario application, while Zhiyuan Robot offers product and embodied intelligence technology capabilities. Their cooperation targets the most critical link in the commercialization of robots: the "from R&D to delivery" process.

The inclusion of equity investment and joint venture establishment as cooperation directions indicates that the relationship between the two parties extends beyond individual orders. If a joint venture entity is established in the future, it may undertake tasks such as production and manufacturing, scenario operations, product delivery, or regional market development.

For the embodied intelligent robot industry chain, such cooperation will further transmit demands to components, complete machine manufacturing, software algorithms, and scenario services. The deployment of humanoid robots in industrial, commercial service, and household scenarios requires the coordinated efforts of servo motors, reducers, controllers, sensors, dexterous hands, vision modules, batteries, power management systems, structural components, motion control algorithms, task planning models, and data collection systems. The cooperation between China's ASD and China Zhiyuan Robot, covering orders, manufacturing, supply chain, technical support, and capital, indicates that the humanoid robot industry is transitioning from single-point technology demonstrations to industry chain collaboration. The true test lies in subsequent delivery: whether the two parties can achieve stable products, clear scenarios, replicable orders, and controllable costs will determine whether this cooperation can move from an agreement to large-scale application.
