en.Wedoany.com Reported - Germany Phoenix Contact has launched the AXL F PSRTD8 1F safety temperature analog input module (Order No.: 1374265), which belongs to the Axioline F distributed I/O family. It can simultaneously measure up to 8 channels of safety temperature or resistance values, supporting safety levels up to PL e and SIL 3.
In the field of industrial automation, temperature is a key parameter in process control. In industries such as wind power, process automation, and energy, safely, accurately, and stably reading temperature signals is a core challenge for engineers.
The AXL F PSRTD8 1F is a safety temperature analog input module supporting the PROFIsafe protocol, certified by international authorities such as TÜV and UL. This module is compatible with fault-safe controllers from Phoenix Contact and Siemens, enabling cross-vendor integration in PROFIsafe systems. It can be used as a local extension connected to Phoenix Contact safety controllers or as a remote I/O station connected to Siemens PROFIsafe safety controllers.
This module integrates the entire chain of temperature signal acquisition and safety processing, eliminating the need for additional signal conditioners to convert temperature sensor signals into 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog signals. This removes the intermediate signal transmission stage, reduces supporting wiring, terminals, and other materials, lowers hardware costs, saves cabinet space, and simplifies system cabling.

The module supports 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire connection methods, and can be connected to Pt, Ni, and KTY series resistance temperature sensors. The resistance measurement range covers 0 Ω to 5000 Ω, with a built-in 24-bit A/D converter. The module integrates a wire break detection diagnostic function and features multiple safety protection mechanisms such as short-circuit protection, overload protection, and transient protection. It uses push-in connection technology, allowing wiring and installation without tools.

This product can be applied to safety monitoring of gearbox and generator winding temperatures in the wind power industry, process temperature safety interlocking in chemical and pharmaceutical industries within process automation, critical bearing and motor temperature protection in factory automation equipment, and temperature monitoring of power equipment and transmission/distribution systems in the energy industry.
