en.Wedoany.com Reported - COSCO Shipping Logistics Supply Chain (Southeast) Regional Company has achieved multiple business milestones in the Malaysian market, covering heavy-lift transportation for port infrastructure, bus logistics, and equipment shipment for gas-fired power station projects, providing logistical support for infrastructure construction along the Belt and Road Initiative and the overseas expansion of Chinese industries.

Recently, the Southeast Regional Company completed the transportation of a batch of heavy equipment to Malaysia, which will be used for the construction of port infrastructure on Malaysian islands. During project execution, the project team coordinated and planned the transportation plan, providing domestic heavy-lift transport, port consolidation, export customs clearance, vessel lashing, and full chartering and sea freight services.

To address the challenges of limited vessel working space and the inability to implement the original stowage plan, the shipping team conducted on-site problem-solving, repeatedly measuring equipment dimensions, vessel load capacity, and spatial layout. They iterated multiple optimized stowage plans overnight, meticulously planning stacking and lashing points for heavy items, balancing loading safety with vessel stability, and ultimately completing the onboard securing and timely shipment of all heavy equipment.

In the bus logistics sector, the Southeast Regional Company leverages its port-side warehousing resources to continuously serve the export business of large local buses, facilitating the shipment of bus KD parts and complete vehicles.

The shipped buses will be used to upgrade local transportation systems, supporting the construction of livelihood projects. The project team, based on the client's production plans and overseas market demand, leveraged its professional warehousing capabilities. To date, a total of 83 buses have been successfully shipped to Malaysia.

In the power construction sector, the Southeast Regional Company recently completed the shipment of critical electrical equipment for a client's gas-fired power station project in Malaysia. Utilizing its port-side warehousing resources, the company proactively coordinated and secured storage space, alleviating the client's upstream supplier's warehousing capacity constraints and ensuring equipment safety throughout the process. The project team will continue to follow up on subsequent batch shipment plans.

Located in Sarawak, Malaysia, the project has been providing engineering logistics services since the end of 2024 and is expected to commence operations by the end of 2027. Once completed, the project will enhance local power generation capacity, optimize Malaysia's energy structure, and help the country achieve its target of 40% renewable energy by 2035.
