This campaign aims to revitalize the regional construction industry and expand local companies' participation in subcontracting, covering a total of 53 construction sites (22 public projects and 31 private projects) with a subcontracting rate of less than 10% and a project progress rate of less than 30%. A joint public-private action team, composed of city government officials and representatives from construction-related associations, directly visited the sites to negotiate plans for expanding local company participation. The team introduced regional construction industry revitalization policies and various support systems, and requested active inclusion of local companies in subcontracting across all trades, including electrical and fire safety fields. Additionally, the team recommended that construction companies prioritize hiring local labor and use locally produced materials and equipment.

Ulsan City Government stated that these efforts yielded results: at multiple project sites, including joint housing and urban development, local companies signed subcontracts worth approximately 16 billion won. Furthermore, through parallel promotion of a support project for subcontract payment guarantee issuance fees, the city government provided approximately 4 million won in support to general contractors that signed contracts with local companies.

Under the "Regional Construction Industry Revitalization Plan," Ulsan City is advancing 22 specific practical tasks and strengthening public-private cooperation, concentrating administrative efforts to achieve this year's goal of a 37% local company subcontracting rate.
