en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Kirov Region has launched a digital transformation project, collaborating with experts from Russia's State Corporation for Assistance to Development, Production and Export of Advanced Technology Industrial Product "Rostec" in the field of social infrastructure. The project plans to migrate the region's government systems to domestic software and equipment, covering both state administration and daily life sectors—schools, hospitals, and administrative buildings will be equipped with modern engineering infrastructure and protected digital systems, while smart solutions for transportation, utilities, and public safety are also planned for deployment in cities.

Mikhail Sandalov, Chairman of the Kirov Region Government, stated that the digitalization of social facilities (schools, hospitals, transportation) directly impacts residents' quality of life and the efficiency of government services, making this agreement a significant practical step. The first phase involves facility inventory and approval of timelines. Sandalov noted that the government, together with Rostec experts, will analyze the region's needs, identify the most urgent projects, select pilot initiatives, and approve the necessary list of domestic software and equipment along with implementation schedules. The government's role is to organize the work of relevant ministries and local administrative bodies, ensuring the transition to new solutions does not disrupt the daily operations of institutions. A roadmap with specific deadlines and acceptance criteria will be developed shortly, with quarterly reviews planned.

The project also involves cooperation with regional industrial enterprises, development of tourist routes and folk crafts, as well as entrepreneur training.

Vasily Zuykov, General Director of RT-Project Technologies (РТ-Проектные технологии), stated that the company offers a wide range of digital, engineering, and protection solutions, from automation of construction, utilities, and transportation to industrial safety, civil defense, and systems for protecting facilities from external threats. He emphasized that the task is not to indiscriminately provide ready-made kits, but to jointly analyze with the regional team the actual needs of the region in various areas such as industry, energy, social infrastructure, urban economy, security, and emergency consequence elimination, and based on this, determine which products can deliver the greatest effect. An audit will be launched shortly to help develop technical specifications and roadmaps for specific tasks, with each project expected to bring measurable improvements for residents and the regional economy.
